My story
I'm a former digital advertising guy who thought climbing the corporate ladder was the path. Fresh out of college, working 60-hour weeks, helping other people build their businesses while our family's dreams sat on the back burner.
The 9-5 grind wore me down. So I tried franchising. That failed spectacularly. Back to another agency I went, tail between my legs.
In 2020, after five years of side hustling while working my agency job, I finally made the leap and went full-time on our own businesses.
But here's the truth: I still wasn't fulfilled.
I was building, but I was building alone. My wife had her thing. I had mine. The kids were on the sidelines. Faith, family, and business all lived in separate boxes.
Then it clicked.
The moment everything changed
I realized family, business, and faith weren't meant to compete… they were meant to integrate. When I stopped compartmentalizing and started building with my family instead of despite them, everything shifted.
That's when I finally found fulfillment.
Here’s what we’ve built together
Today, we run multiple businesses using our family's unique gifts and talents. We created Tabitha Paige, a lifestyle kids brand that's sold nearly 1 million books. We manage short-term rentals on our Texas farmstead. We license Tabitha's artwork. We invest in real estate and other family businesses.
We work side-by-side with our four kids, proving every day that you don't have to choose between building something meaningful and being present for what matters most.
When I'm not working on our businesses
I'm teaching my kids to think like entrepreneurs, stewarding our farm, and helping other families discover what I learned the hard way: faith, family, and work aren't meant to compete—they're meant to integrate and strengthen each other.
